A meaningful career
deserves a permanent record.
Recognition. Legacy. Permanence.
A curated archive of professional achievement.
Not a directory. Not a social network.
IconsHerald is a professional legacy archive where accomplished professionals receive a permanent, editorially composed profile documenting their career with the seriousness it deserves. Every profile is composed by the IconsHerald editorial team, with the assistance of AI-based editorial tools, and approved by the member before publication. Inclusion in the Register is subject to editorial review — acceptance is not automatic.
Transparent, dignified pricing.
A one-time editorial fee composes your profile. A modest annual fee preserves it.

The IconsHerald Register
A curated register of meaningful professional achievement.
Editorial Services & Pricing
A permanent record of professional achievement, composed with editorial care. Editorial creation is a one-time professional service; a modest annual fee preserves and maintains your published archive.
Editorial Review
Every application is reviewed by the IconsHerald editorial team. IconsHerald is intended for professionals with a demonstrable record of achievement, contribution, or distinction. Acceptance is not automatic.
Editorial Profile Creation
A one-time professional editorial fee, composed once and published to The IconsHerald Register.
The Editorial Profile Creation fee is a one-time professional service. It composes and publishes your biography once. It does not include future editorial work — see Editorial Services below for updates and revisions.
Compare editorial scope
Each package reflects the depth of editorial work involved, not a hierarchy of status.

| Package Upgrade | To Accomplished or Distinguished, anytime | To Distinguished, anytime | N/A — highest package |
Members may upgrade to a higher editorial package at any time. The difference in editorial fee applies, and additional editorial work begins once payment is received.
Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification
Editorial creation is one-time. The Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification fee is a separate, ongoing programme that keeps your published profile secure, accessible, and verified — a continuing act of preservation, not another biography.
A modest yearly fee sustains the infrastructure, security, and editorial governance that keep every published profile dignified and permanently accessible — the continuing cost of being a true archive, not merely a webpage.
Editorial Services
As your career continues, you may commission further editorial work at any time. Editorial Services are separate from Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification and are charged according to scope.
Minor technical corrections — such as a misspelling or a broken link — remain included under Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification, at no additional charge.
50% of the editorial creation fee, plus applicable GST, is payable upfront before editorial preparation of your profile begins. The balance of 50% becomes payable on completion, after you review and approve your finished editorial profile and before publication.
The editorial experience
A published IconsHerald profile is composed as a complete editorial record of a career, not a form to be filled in. Depending on the package selected, a profile may draw upon:
What every IconsHerald profile includes:
Profile Approval
Before any profile is published, you are shown the complete, finished version for review. Nothing reaches The IconsHerald Register without your explicit approval.
Your Permanent Profile Address
Every published profile receives a permanent, shareable address at iconsherald.com — chosen by you during the application process, much like choosing a Gmail username. Your address appears prominently on your published profile together with a scannable QR code, a Copy Link button, and a Share button, ready for visiting cards, email signatures, and professional correspondence.
As the platform is built, the editorial team will be able to reserve, release, transfer, or block profile addresses, and review all reserved and published addresses, to keep the Register's namespace dignified and free of misuse. This demonstration simulates address reservation and availability checking in-browser; address governance has not yet been built.
Publication Is Not the End
As your career continues, you may commission a Minor Editorial Update or a Major Editorial Revision at any time — see Editorial Services above. Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification continues to preserve your published archive in the meantime.
How the editorial process works
Who should apply?
Apply for an Editorial Profile
This is an application for professional editorial profile creation, not an instant enrolment. The IconsHerald editorial team reviews every application and contacts suitable applicants regarding eligibility, the editorial process, and profile publication.

Looking to preserve the memory of someone no longer with us? Living professionals belong only in the Register above — visit Legacies instead →
Submitting this form does not confirm acceptance or initiate any payment. It is an application for the editorial team to review your eligibility.
Choose your permanent IconsHerald profile address. It will become:
https://iconsherald.com/your-name
This address cannot normally be changed after publication.
Like choosing a Gmail username — once your profile is published, this address becomes a permanent part of your professional identity.
Application received.
The IconsHerald editorial team will review your application. If your profile appears suitable for the Register, we will contact you regarding eligibility, the editorial process, and profile publication. Acceptance is not automatic, and submitting this form does not guarantee publication.
Editorial preparation is typically completed within approximately 2–4 weeks of receipt of the upfront payment, depending on package, profile complexity, and your responsiveness to editorial requests.
50% of the package fee, plus applicable GST, is payable upfront before editorial preparation of your profile or document begins. Once editorial preparation has commenced, this upfront payment is non-refundable, as professional editorial services have already been performed. The remaining 50% + GST becomes payable only after you review and approve your completed editorial profile, and before publication.
Your personal contact details are never displayed publicly without your consent. Contact Requests from visitors are handled through the platform without exposing your private contact information.
You retain ownership of the factual information and photographs you supply. IconsHerald retains copyright in its editorial composition, layout, and presentation of your profile.
Editorial Questionnaires
Each editorial package draws upon a different depth of material. This is the information the editorial team will ask you to provide once your application is approved.

Recognition. Legacy.
Permanence.
Professional accomplishments often become fragmented.
Across social networks, news reports, publications, institutional websites, conference brochures, and newspaper archives — a lifetime of professional contribution is rarely gathered in one permanent place.
IconsHerald exists to preserve meaningful professional achievement within one curated, permanent record.
Meaningful careers deserve recognition — not only from peers, but from future generations.
Doctors who have healed thousands. Lawyers who have argued for justice. Researchers who have advanced the frontiers of knowledge. Teachers whose students now lead institutions. Artists whose work has shaped culture. Entrepreneurs who have built enterprises that employed hundreds of families.
Their contributions are real, their impact lasting — yet their stories are scattered, their records incomplete. IconsHerald exists to ensure those contributions are recognised, documented, and remembered.
A career should remain accessible long after websites disappear.
Social profiles become inactive. Newspaper archives are lost. Institutional websites are redesigned and records erased. A professional record built over forty years can become inaccessible within a decade of retirement.
IconsHerald is designed as a long-term archive of professional achievement. Profiles are hosted permanently. Legacies — IconsHerald's separate division for posthumous archives commissioned by families and institutions — is sealed at publication and never taken down.
A small number of careers are recognised by invitation alone.
A limited number of distinguished professionals may be invited to join IconsHerald as Founding Members. Founding Membership cannot be purchased, applied for, or requested — it is extended at the sole discretion of the IconsHerald editorial team, in recognition of a career judged to merit it.
The Founding Member programme is limited in number and will close permanently once all invitations have been accepted. Every Founding Member is asked for written consent before any profile is published.
Founding Membership is a form of recognition, not a transaction. It cannot be bought, and it is not a discounted version of standard inclusion in the Register.
Every profile is composed by the editorial team, reviewed, and member approved.
IconsHerald profiles are not self-written. Every profile is composed by the IconsHerald editorial team, with the assistance of AI-based editorial tools, and approved by the member before publication. Nothing appears without the member's explicit confirmation.
Acceptance into IconsHerald is not automatic. Every application is reviewed. Inclusion in the Register is intended for professionals with a demonstrable record of achievement, contribution, or distinction.
The standard is simple: does this career deserve to be documented and preserved? If the answer is yes, we want to do that work well.
"We believe accomplishment deserves documentation.
We believe recognition should not be reserved for celebrities alone.
We believe meaningful professional careers leave stories worth preserving.
IconsHerald was created to ensure those stories are not lost."

Terms and Conditions
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website iconsherald.com and all related services (together, "IconsHerald," "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by [legal entity name to be inserted once incorporated]. By accessing or using IconsHerald, you ("you," "User," or "Member") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Nature of the Service
IconsHerald is a curated, invitation-and-application-based editorial platform that composes and publishes professional biographical profiles ("Profiles") on behalf of paying members ("Members"), following editorial review and the Member's explicit approval. IconsHerald is not a social network, a directory open to unrestricted self-listing, a recruitment platform, or a matrimonial or dating service. Publication of a Profile is at IconsHerald's sole editorial discretion and is not guaranteed by submission of an application or payment of any fee.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for editorial profile creation or to submit a Contact Request. By applying, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and that you have the right to provide it, including any photographs, documents, awards, or third-party material you submit for inclusion in your Profile.
4. The Application and Editorial Process
You submit an application, including a request for your preferred editorial package and a preferred profile address. IconsHerald's editorial team reviews the application; acceptance is not automatic and is entirely at IconsHerald's discretion, and IconsHerald is not obliged to give reasons for declining an application. If approved, you complete an editorial questionnaire appropriate to your chosen package, and make an upfront payment of 50% of the applicable Editorial Profile Creation fee plus GST. IconsHerald's editorial team then prepares a draft Profile, which may involve the use of AI-assisted writing tools under editorial supervision. You will be shown the complete draft for review, and your Profile is published only after you provide explicit approval, recording the date, time, and version approved. The balance 50% of the fee plus GST is collected before or upon publication.
5. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
IconsHerald's pricing comprises three distinct types of fee, each published on the Editorial Services & Pricing page and revisable by IconsHerald at any time for future applications or renewals: (a) Editorial Profile Creation, a one-time fee that composes and publishes a Profile, inclusive of applicable GST; (b) Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification, a recurring fee that preserves a published archive, charged plus applicable GST; and (c) Editorial Services such as a Minor Editorial Update or Major Editorial Revision, charged separately according to scope, plus applicable GST, as and when commissioned. All fees are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. The Editorial Profile Creation upfront payment is non-refundable once editorial preparation has commenced, as it compensates for editorial work already performed. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for full detail.
6. Content Ownership and Licence
You retain ownership of the underlying factual information, photographs, and documents you supply ("Member Content"). By submitting Member Content, you grant IconsHerald a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, and publish that content as part of your Profile and in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. IconsHerald retains all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the editorial composition, layout, design, and presentation of your Profile. You may not reproduce, scrape, or republish a Profile without IconsHerald's written permission, except for personal, non-commercial sharing of your own Profile link.
7. Profile Address (Vanity URL)
Each published Member is allocated a permanent profile address in the form iconsherald.com/[chosen-name]. This address is reserved during editorial review and becomes permanent upon publication. IconsHerald reserves the right to decline, reassign, or require modification of a requested address that is offensive, misleading, or infringes a third party's rights or identity; to release a reserved address back into the available pool if an application is declined, withdrawn, or lapses without completion of editorial review within a reasonable window; and, in exceptional circumstances, to change a published address while maintaining a permanent redirect from the old address.
8. Accuracy of Profile Content
While IconsHerald's editorial team reviews and verifies information to the extent reasonably practicable, IconsHerald does not independently verify every credential, award, or claim submitted by a Member, and is not responsible for the accuracy of factual claims made by a Member about themselves. A Member is responsible for the truthfulness of the information they provide. If you believe a published Profile contains false or misleading information, please use the Grievance Redressal process.
9. Contact Request Facility
IconsHerald provides a Contact Request facility allowing visitors to send a message to a Member without the Member's personal phone number or email address being disclosed. IconsHerald relays such messages to the Member's registered email address. IconsHerald is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any subsequent communication, relationship, transaction, or dispute arising from a Contact Request.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to impersonate any person or entity; submit false, defamatory, or infringing content; use the Contact Request facility to harass or send unsolicited commercial communications; attempt to scrape or systematically extract Profile data; or attempt to circumvent the Platform's security or access controls.
11. Termination and Removal
IconsHerald may suspend or remove a published Profile, or decline to renew Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification, if it reasonably believes a Member has breached these Terms, provided false information, or brought the Platform into disrepute. Where reasonably practicable, IconsHerald will give the Member notice and an opportunity to respond before removal, except in cases of urgent legal risk.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all Profiles are provided "as is." IconsHerald does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and does not endorse, vouch for, or guarantee the truth of any claim made within a published Profile.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IconsHerald's aggregate liability to any Member or visitor arising out of or relating to use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount of fees actually paid by that Member to IconsHerald in the twelve months preceding the claim. IconsHerald shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of business, reputation, or opportunity.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city to be inserted] shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to the grievance redressal process.
15. Changes to These Terms
IconsHerald may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to existing Members by email and/or prominent notice on the Platform at least 15 days before taking effect, except where a change is required to comply with law.
16. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact [legal contact email to be inserted].

Privacy Policy
1. Our Approach
IconsHerald is built around a simple privacy principle: your personal contact details (phone number, personal email) are never published or displayed to the public. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
2. What We Collect
From applicants and Members: Full name, email address, mobile number, profession, and city, collected at application; editorial material you choose to supply for your Profile, including biography details, career history, photographs, awards, and publications; payment-related information processed via our payment partner; and your chosen profile address.
From visitors using the Contact Request facility: The name, contact detail, and message content you submit when contacting a Member.
3. What We Do Not Collect or Display
We do not display a Member's phone number or personal email address publicly on any Profile. We do not require or store Aadhaar, PAN, or other government identity numbers through the current application flow described on this site.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process your editorial profile application; prepare, edit, and publish your Profile with your approval; operate the Contact Request relay; process payments; communicate with you about your application or account; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not use Member or visitor personal data for unrelated advertising purposes.
5. Legal Basis and Consent
Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit an application, a Contact Request, or otherwise provide information to us. You may withdraw consent at any time, though withdrawal may mean we are unable to continue providing the relevant service.
6. Sharing of Information
We share information with editorial staff and contractors engaged to prepare and review Profiles, under confidentiality obligations; payment processors, strictly to process payments; hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate the Platform; and government or regulatory authorities, where required by law. We do not otherwise disclose your personal contact details to any third party, including to visitors using the Contact Request facility.
7. Data Retention
We retain Member account and Profile data for as long as the Profile remains published, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. Unsuccessful or withdrawn applications, and Contact Request messages, are retained for a defined period, after which they are deleted unless retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; request correction or completion of inaccurate data; request erasure of data no longer necessary for the purpose collected, subject to our legal retention obligations; withdraw consent; nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and file a complaint with us, and if unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
9. How to Exercise Your Rights / Contact Us
To exercise any of the above rights, or for any privacy question, contact our designated Data Protection contact at [contact details to be inserted]. We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable time and aim to resolve it within the timelines required by applicable law.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss. In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in harm to you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the DPDP Act's breach notification requirements.
11. Children's Data
IconsHerald is not directed at and does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Members of material changes and indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.
This page is part of a live demonstration. The Grievance Officer named below is a placeholder. Indian law requires every intermediary, regardless of size, to publish the name and India-based contact details of a real Grievance Officer before commercial launch.
Grievance Redressal Policy
1. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are published below:
2. What You Can Raise
You may file a grievance regarding content on a published Profile that you believe is false, defamatory, or violates your rights; misuse of the Contact Request facility; a privacy or data protection concern; or any other complaint about the conduct of the Platform or its content.
3. How We Handle Your Complaint
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours, and resolve it within 15 days of receipt, except for complaints involving content that exposes a person in a sexual or obscene manner or invades their bodily privacy, which will be actioned within 24 hours of a valid complaint, as required by law. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may pursue other remedies available under Indian law, including approaching the appropriate consumer forum or court.
4. Submitting a Complaint
Complaints may be submitted by email to the Grievance Officer above, including your name, contact details, a description of the issue, and, where applicable, a link to the relevant Profile or content.
This page is part of a live demonstration. Payment terms below describe the policy IconsHerald intends to operate once a payment gateway is integrated; no live payment processing currently exists on this demonstration site.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Application Stage
Submitting an application does not create a payment obligation. No fee is charged at the application stage.
2. Upfront Payment (50% of Editorial Profile Creation Fee + GST)
This payment is due after your application is approved and you have completed the relevant editorial questionnaire, and before editorial preparation of your Profile begins. This payment is non-refundable once editorial preparation has commenced, because it compensates for professional editorial work already performed, regardless of whether you subsequently decide not to proceed.
3. Balance Payment (Remaining 50% + GST)
This is due after you have reviewed and approved your completed Profile, and before publication. If you decline to approve the Profile after a reasonable opportunity for revision, and the parties cannot reach agreement on the Profile's content, IconsHerald may treat the engagement as concluded; the upfront payment already made remains non-refundable, the balance payment will not be charged, and the Profile will not be published.
4. Revisions Before Approval
You are entitled to a reasonable number of revision rounds before final approval is required, as specified for your package. Additional revision rounds beyond this may attract an additional fee, communicated to you in advance.
5. Cancellation by IconsHerald
If IconsHerald is unable to complete your Profile for reasons within its control, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid for which corresponding work has not been delivered.
6. Legacies and Bespoke Engagements
Because Legacies engagements are individually commissioned by a family, foundation, or institution, refund terms for a Legacies Editorial Memorial Archive, and for any other bespoke engagement, will be set out in the specific quotation or agreement provided to the commissioning party before payment, and that document will govern in case of any conflict with this general policy.
7. Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification Renewal
Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification fees are billed in advance. The specific renewal refund policy will be published here before commercial launch.

General Disclaimer
The information published on IconsHerald, including all Member Profiles, reflects information supplied by or on behalf of the individual featured, edited and presented by IconsHerald's editorial team. IconsHerald does not independently verify every factual claim, and inclusion of a Profile on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or verification by IconsHerald of any claim, qualification, award, or achievement described.
Specimen or sample profiles shown for demonstration or evaluation purposes are clearly marked as such and depict fictional individuals; they are not real people, and any resemblance to actual persons is coincidental.
IconsHerald is not a recruitment agency, matchmaking service, financial advisory service, or legal service, and nothing on the Platform should be construed as professional advice of any kind.
Every remarkable life leaves a legacy.
Some deserve to be preserved forever.
Legacies is IconsHerald's permanent memorial archive — a place of remembrance, not commerce, where the professional contribution of those no longer with us is documented with the same editorial care given to the living, and preserved without end.
For families, foundations, and institutions wishing to preserve a professional legacy.
Legacies is reserved exclusively for those who are no longer with us. Living professionals are documented in The IconsHerald Register instead.
Editorial Archival Questionnaire
The material the editorial team will gather from the family or institution to prepare a Legacies archive.
Preserving a Legacy
A single editorial commission, prepared with the family or institution, preserved permanently.
Editorial revisions to a published Legacies archive — a Minor Editorial Update (₹3,000 + GST) or a Major Editorial Revision (₹8,000 + GST) — are arranged separately, at the family's request.
Mathew Varghese Perangatt spent four decades navigating institutions and markets where professional reputation was everything — and observed throughout that most accomplished people had no adequate permanent record of what they had built.
His commercial career began in international banking, where he spent sixteen years at the National Bank of Dubai, progressing through trade finance and treasury operations to branch management. The banking environment of that era — its formality, its standards, its weight placed on professional standing and institutional credibility — shaped his understanding of what recognition meant and how rarely it was adequately documented.
He subsequently spent seventeen years as the commercial representative in various geographies for three international medical technology companies, navigating the full complexity of institutional procurement in regulated healthcare markets — government hospitals, academic medical centres, and regulatory authorities. These were careers built in rooms that most people never enter, on decisions whose consequences were measured in patient lives. The professionals who made those decisions — surgeons, scientists, administrators of genuine distinction — had no adequate permanent record of their contribution.
"I spent nearly four decades working alongside people who had built extraordinary professional careers — and I watched those careers go undocumented. Not out of modesty. Simply because there was no adequate place for them."
The idea that became IconsHerald emerged from a specific observation: the professionals whose careers most deserved documentation were, in many cases, the ones whose stories were least visible. Doctors and lawyers whose professional norms left little room for public self-presentation. Scientists whose work was technical or classified. Business leaders whose careers unfolded in sectors that general media never covered. These were not people without achievements. They were people without archives.
IconsHerald was created to be that archive — a platform designed around the proposition that a meaningful professional career deserves a permanent, editorially composed record that outlasts the institutions it passed through, the publications that briefly covered it, and the platforms that were never built to preserve it.
